I am sure you have heard of Aiken and their infamous skincare line and one of their well known skincare is the Tea Tree Oil Spot Away range. I'm just going to tell you my 1 month experience so for more infos such as the ingredients can be found in other blogs. I have combination skin which is oily T-zone and dry cheeks. It's very affordable and can be found at Guardian ( not in Watson I believe ).
The products are as below:
1. Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Facial Cleanser 100g
- The price is about RM 11.45 - RM 9.73 (GuardianMY) -
It's fragrance free but for me it smells like cream that you get from the hospital; just nasty. I was not okay with the smell but yeah. The texture is not runny and quite creamy. I usually use a small amount and it foams up well. It does a pretty good job by cleansing my face well and I always use really light makeup so I don't always use makeup remover and this cleanser can clean off the makeup pretty good. It doesn't tighten my skin but it feels kind of dry and that's okay for me. I did not get any allergy reaction and my acne dries faster after using this. It doesn't make my acne scar fade away but I'm willing to wait. My face feels less oily than before and it took longer time to get oily. In conclusion, I like this cleanser because it's affordable and does it's job pretty well.

2. Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Pore Refining Toner 100 ml

The smell is more bearable than the cleanser one alhamdulillah. My big ass pores did not shrink completely but I can see the slightest difference. I applied it day and night but not constantly and the result is okay for me. It did not tighten my face, I don't feel it drying as well and no allergy occurred. It feels fresh and clean? Basically, I think it's just a decent toner.

Would I repurchase? No. Please tell me another cheap af toner that's good.
3. Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Daily Moisturizing Lotion 75ml

Again, the smell is nasty but that's okay beauty is pain. This is one of my favorite products! The texture is creamy and not too runny. I always apply this on my cotton pad after toner and it distributes evenly (I believe so). The first time I'm using this, I applied it using my fingers and it feels hot on my face so I decided to use cotton pad. It dries out matte and very smooth. I certainly feel the before and after using this because my face was really oily before and then now it feels moist instead of oily. I got no allergy reaction and my face didn't turn red. This is good for before makeup routine to prep our skin. Seriously, I love this product so much.

4. Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Pimple Cream

The only pimple cream that works for me and does not leave any scar. It takes 3-5 days for it to completely disappear. I don't know about huge ass pimple but I read it's pretty good at handling those things. The texture is creamy and not runny at all. It didn't leave a matte finish on me maybe I use too much because I have a lot of small acne on my cheek area. The smell... nasty as always. It didn't leave white cast and if you blend it well, you can go out right away. It really did it's job really good, nuff said.

I would repurchase and recommend to people because this is the only product in this range that seems to be working well on every blogs I've read.
Those are the products I'm using right now and actually I have been using the toner for 2 months because I was out of toner and it lasted quite a while despite it's tiny sized. I really like these products because the packaging are small so it's easy to carry anywhere and they are very affordable! My advice is maybe it's better to use the whole set for it to work better. The pimple cream is really good and I don't know about the oil yet because it's always sold out.

Hi, I always put mine during the day and night because the cream doesn't leave a white cast and I think it'll work faster with that.

ReplyDeleteHi! I changed my skincare now and no, it does nothing to my acne scars. I guess it's only good for acne haha especially the tea tree oil and pimple cream, it's really effective to soothe the newborn pimple! Hope it helps~
